Ive been a big sister most of my life, and STEM education is a passion of mine! I’ve worked at the Montana Learning Center on Canyon Ferry with ages 4-9, and served an Americorps VISTA term at Helena’s Exploration Works with ages 6-10. and worked closely with several families for years. I love combining science with natural exploration and being a big sister is a vital aspect of my life.

I was working with a family of 3 boys at the time. It was a beautiful summer day and I had spent the previous weekend hunting huckleberries in the mountains. The boys had never had fresh huckleberries before, so we packed a lunch, lots of ice water, and spent the afternoon deep in the mountains- eating berries right off the bush.
