Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I spent a year as an afterschool childcare worker for elementary and middle school students. I worked as a teacher for the YMCA in Frankfort, KY for two years. I worked with children 1-5 years old. For most of my time as a teacher, I was a lead preschool teacher for children ages 3-5.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy making art and crafts with kids, those were my favorite activities to plan as a teacher. I enjoyed taking my previous students outside to the playground and on nature walks around the daycare.
My experience with special needs children...
During my time as a teacher, I worked with students diagnosed with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder. I spent a short amount of time as a behavioral health technician where I worked with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
