More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have relevant experience caring for children through my work as a public school tutor, where I supported students in ESL reading and 4th grade math. In this role, I worked one-on-one with children to help improve their understanding, build confidence, and stay engaged in learning. I developed patience, clear communication skills, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
In addition, I have participated in community youth engagement activities where I helped create positive and safe environments for children during events and programs. These experiences strengthened my ability to be responsible, attentive, and supportive when working with kids.
Overall, my experience has prepared me to effectively care for children by being dependable, encouraging, and attentive to their individual needs.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy spending time with kids through a mix of fun, creative, and educational activities. I like reading together, helping with homework, and finding ways to make learning engaging and interactive. I also enjoy doing arts and crafts, drawing, and hands-on projects that allow kids to be creative and express themselves.
When possible, I like incorporating outdoor play such as games, walks, or simple sports to help kids stay active and energized. I also enjoy playing games, doing puzzles, and coming up with activities that keep children entertained while encouraging problem-solving and curiosity.
Overall, I aim to create a positive and supportive environment where kids feel safe, have fun, and are encouraged to learn and grow

The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, supportive, and trusting environment where children feel comfortable and cared for. This includes being attentive to their needs, maintaining consistency, and setting appropriate boundaries while still being kind and patient.
Equally important is building a positive relationship with the child, so they feel respected, understood, and encouraged. A good nanny not only ensures a child’s safety and well-being, but also supports their growth by engaging them in meaningful activities, encouraging good habits, and helping build their confidence

My experience with special needs children...
I don’t have any experience with special needs children yet.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when I helped a child I was working with feel more confident in reading. At first, they were hesitant and unsure of themselves, but by reading together regularly and encouraging them along the way, I could see their confidence grow. One day, they read an entire passage out loud with excitement and pride, which was a really rewarding moment. It was meaningful to see their progress and know that I played a small part in helping them feel more capable and confident. Moments like that are what make working with kids so fulfilling for me.
