A little bit about me

Hi! I’m 22 years old and originally from Texas. I’m currently a nursing student at LSU, working toward my dream of becoming a registered nurse. I’m already an LPN, and while I’m in school, I work as a nanny because I genuinely love caring for children. My goal is to become a PICU nurse and make a difference in the lives of kids and their families. I’ve always dreamed of becoming a mom someday, so working with children is especially meaningful to me.

I’m a bubbly, creative person who loves drawing, hiking, going on walks, and spending time outdoors. I enjoy making people smile, trying new things, and creating fun memories. Kindness means a lot to me, and I love surrounding myself with genuine, positive people. I strive to live with compassion, positivity, and purpose every day.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have experience caring for my younger siblings and cousins, which has strengthened my patience, responsibility, and ability to create a fun, safe environment. I also volunteered at a daycare facility, where I assisted with supervising children, engaging them in activities, and supporting their daily routines. As an LPN and current nursing student at LSU, I bring a caring, dependable, and safety-focused approach to childcare.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy keeping children active, engaged, and having fun! Some of my favorite activities include arts and crafts, drawing, reading books, playing educational games, baking, outdoor walks, trips to the park, and imaginative play. I also enjoy helping with homework, encouraging creativity, and planning age-appropriate activities that support learning and development. My goal is to create a safe, positive, and nurturing environment where children can learn, explore, and enjoy themselves.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and trusting environment where children feel supported and cared for. I believe in building a strong relationship with both the children and their parents through open communication, patience, and reliability. My goal is to not only keep children safe but also encourage their growth, creativity, confidence, and happiness every day.

My experience with special needs children...

While I have limited hands-on experience caring for children with special needs, I am eager to learn and grow. As an LPN and current nursing student, I have foundational healthcare knowledge and am committed to learning the skills needed to provide safe, compassionate, and individualized care. I’m patient, adaptable, and always willing to follow parents’ guidance and any care plans to ensure your child feels supported, comfortable, and cared for.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite childcare experiences was volunteering at a daycare facility. It gave me the opportunity to work with children of different ages and learn how each stage of development comes with unique personalities, needs, and ways of learning. I loved building relationships with the children, watching them grow, and finding creative ways to keep them engaged. That experience strengthened my passion for working with kids and confirmed that caring for children is something I truly enjoy.
