Years ago I volunteered at a children’s hospital, and a group home with expectant teenage mothers. I also worked at group homes with teenage mothers. I have also taught science to kindergarten age children in a homeschool co-op and I have taught Sunday school and vacation Bible school as well.

I enjoy reading aloud, playing board games and kid’s card games, working puzzles, building with magnatiles, singing nursery rhymes and other songs, baking, taking walks, throwing, bouncing and kicking a ball, playing miniature golf, and various other outdoor activities.

I took care of two year old twin girls on a farm and they loved to have me drive them around the farm on the golf cart and stop and look at the pig in the pig pen, the goats, the horses, and the chickens. They had a ball chasing after animals and imitating the sounds they made as well!
