A little bit about me

Hi I'm Mary-Kate. My nickname is MK and my favorite colors pink! I'm currently a senior at Gaithersburg High School. I play field hockey. I danced competitively for 7 years growing up. Needless to say I'll make sure your little ones are always moving! I am one of 5 and have a ton of experience with younger kids! Although not certified I also have had a job (pre-covid) as a counselor at a summer camp for several years and I firmly believe I will be able to handle whatever is thrown at me! Most recently I was a host and server at a restaurant at the beach in Ocean City. This summer, due to starting school in the fall, I won't be returning to the beach as I have for the past few years and I would love to find a family to care for preferably part-time. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked at a summer camp (ages 3's to 8th grade) for 6 summers except last summer obviously due to our friend covid. I'm one of 5 kids so I'm very used to an environment with kids and I love it! I also babysat for my 2 cousins (5 and 18 months) for a few months back in 2019.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love being outside! I love to play pretty much every sport out there. My favorites are lacrosse and field hockey but I love them all! I also love to dance and I could definitely see some dance concerts in our future!
