I volunteered at the Fall Festival at a local church to help run a booth and give out candy to the kids. I will at times run the daycare at my local church. I also helped my aunt with her in home daycare when I was younger.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
We do arts and crafts. I also enjoy playing games, whether it's a made-up game of theirs, a game of tag, or a board game. We do water play, either pool or water toys. It's also nice to relax with them and watch a movie and have some snacks. I help with homework and just communicate with them.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I have to say my absolute favorite moments are when they are introduced to new things. I just love how their little faces light up and they are just fascinated. Such as new games, animals, cultures, and etc., I love when I have introduced them to a new game or a curiosity, no matter how silly, and the genuine excitement and awe they have on their faces. I would be lying if I didn't add as another top moment is when it's time for me to leave and they want me to stay. As sad as it is to leave those sad little faces, that also confirms that I did a good job. I always thrive to create a safe place and build a genuine bond with all the children, especially the older ones because I know how hard it can be going through changes and be a teen in general.
