More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I volunteered at a recreation center helping with summer daycare for 2 years other than that I’ve babysat for my family for 6 years now and I still occasionally babysit.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love organizing arts and crafts sessions, where kids can paint, draw, and create DIY projects. Outdoor play is another favorite; I enjoy taking them to the park for games like tag or mini sports, which helps them burn off energy and learn teamwork. Reading books and playing educational games are also activities I incorporate to keep their minds engaged.

My experience with special needs children...

I don’t have much experience but my junior year of high school I had a speacial needs student aide and enagagement class where I interacted and helped to make sure they felt loved, accepted, and valued. We ran a school based special olympics for them, took them on field trips, sometimes we’d just hung out, and other times we’d go to the gym and play games.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is when I helped teach the 4-6 year olds at summer daycare how to read and spell and one of the little girls got so excited, she gave me a huge hug and cried tears of joy because she could finally read her favorite book by herself.
