More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked as the Gold's Gym children's athletic instructor for 2 years, volunteered with my Church's youth ministry for several years, and I am a volunteer children's dental health advocate. I have been a private nanny since I was 16 years old and pride myself in establishing long-lasting relationships with each family I have served.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love getting kids outside and active! Whether we are going for walks, playing at the park, or having a picnic with homemade snacks, I believe the best adventures are found outside. I also enjoy making arts and crafts with the kiddos such as painting, coloring, or crafting.

The most important part about being a nanny...

is creating an encouraging and empowering environment. I believe a nanny is more than a babysitter. My role is to create a loving bond while helping the child grow into who they are created to be. I love teaching them age-appropriate life skills such as dealing with conflict, healthy habits, and more. I want to be someone that the parents trust and that the child is comfortable with. A nanny should almost feel like a member of the family because they are involved in the success of the child.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was creating such a strong bond with the first kids I ever nannied. The two girls were 7 and 9 years old and I worked with them for 3 years. I loved teaching the girls how to prepare homemade meals the most, but it was so amazing watching them grow. I am still close with the family and still spend time with the girls, despite them having matured.
