A little bit about me

Hello! My name is May Gambino! I’m 22 years old and started working in childcare right out of highschool. I took a break from childcare, as I found out i was pregnant. I went back to childcare soon after having the baby, and now i bring my 3 year old with me! Being outside is very important to me and my son and would try to get out every day! I have always known i wanted to work with children one way or another. I am an oldest sister and grandchild and have always found myself caregiving! I am available Mon-Wed until 5pm! I am CPR certified! I am looking for a work setting where i’m able to provide more 1 on 1 time with the child(children) i am caring for, which is hard to find in childcare settings ie daycares/preschools. Most of my work experience is with 1-5 year olds so potty training doesn’t scare me! I look forward to meeting you!!

I have always been such a caretaker, specifically great with children, & I truly feel that I would be the best fill in for busy parents to care for their children as I did my own.
I stopped doing hair after 25 years as a stylist due to physical strain building up on my body, & have tried my hand in the corporate world. I have no problem working full time, but I miss the innocence of little ones and how life is more about being present then dealing with power struggles.
