Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love heading outdoors to the park even bringing some sidewalk chalk to play some tic tag toe! I understand being indoors all day as a little one can tend to get a little boring. So anything to get their energy out before bedtime. I also enjoy coloring! I even have a adult coloring book that I use sometimes and it’s very therapeutic for me. So Sitting down and pulling out some crayons and markers are always a fun thing to do. Maybe even a dance party!I can show off my moves!
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me the most important part about being a nanny is the safety of the children in you care. They are little humans that don’t always know right from wrong so it’s part of my responsibility to guide them in the right direction. Another important part of being a nanny is respecting the parents rules. Every family is different and is raising their children differently. So it’s important for me to be on the same page as their parents. For example some families allow screen time while others do not. My job is to respect that.
