A little bit about me

Hi!! I am 21 years old.. I currently reside in Texas with my current nanny family but am moving home to ohio at the end of december! I have been babysitting & nannying since I was 13! But I also grew up in a family with two younger active siblings, so having kids around is nothing out of the ordinary! I’m a people person—I love chatting with kids of all ages about their lives, goals, and dreams. It’s an honor to be someone they can look up to and trust as they grow. I truly enjoy the family atmosphere. I love the rhythm of daily life, from work to activities, to dinner at 4 p.m. or even 9 p.m.—and rarely anything in between! It’s so heartwarming to see kids admire their parents and vice versa. It’s been a lifelong dream of mine to have a family of my own one day, so being surrounded by that kind of environment is truly life-giving to me. Not only do I have experience in the nanny field, but I also have worked with children’s and families of all ages in two of my other past jobs!!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked at a dance studio where I managed the front desk and worked with families and their children as well as taught dance class! I also worked at a photography studio where we photograph people of all ages in all walks of life.. so we worked with families, kids, schools, buisnesses!! We always have kids in and out of the studio and clients with growing families!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love being in the kitchen with the kids, letting them explore and play around! I love taking them new places and doing things they haven’t done before! I enjoy car rides and hearing them talk about what’s outside or about their day! watching life through their eyes is something spectacular!

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience with working with children with special needs from my previous jobs.. I have not had a long term experience but have never steered away from it and am open to it!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love watching the kids I have had the privilege of nannying for become their own sense of self.. some of the kids it was during their teenage years where their confidence expanded and it was beautiful to see them figure out who they are and who they want to be! for others it was when they started speaking for themselves and not what their older siblings said for them! I have cherished watching kids grow in all walks of life and am honored to stand by them
