A little bit about me

I have been a caretaker of children since I was 8 years old when I started raising my baby brother, who is now 16. I enjoy working with kids because they bring such interesting opinions and personalities to an otherwise dull world. I was a residential camp counselor for 4 years, including during the pandemic. I have also worked in the classroom as a TA for K-8 students in Los Angeles and as a high school English teacher for freshmen in Washington, DC. I love being a sitter because it is essentially 1-1 camp counseling, which has been my favorite job yet. I have also worked with children with special needs and in a foster home for teens who are pregnant and/or parenting. I am preparing to start a graduate program to earn a Master's in Social Work, so I have flexible hours. In addition to watching your kiddos, I can also cook, clean, and tutor, as well as take care of your fur babies. I foster cats and have two cats and two dogs of my own.
