I was a pre-school teacher for P.S 583 before the pandemic. I have a minor in Teachers Education from NYU as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love puzzles and board games. I also love story telling and arts and craft. Being a teacher and older sibling has always kept my heart child-like. Which allows me to bond with children almost immediately.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To provide not just care but safety first. Then comes education with fun. Where the child is learning while they are having fun and enjoying the company of their care taker. It allows them to receive and store knowledge willingly.

My experience with special needs children...

Being a public school teacher has allowed me to experience teaching and caring for all children, including special needs children.
Due to my bachelor in Psychology from NYU I believe this allows me to connect and understand with children from a more open approach than usual nannies

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment hands down is when a child feels secure enough to speak and be themselves. I love seeing children being authentically them selves. My job as a care taker and support is to ensure I help them develop their natural talents and characters to something amazing for them to build on beyond my absence.
