During my high school years, I have volunteered at a camping event as a staff assistant to take care of kids who are of special needs and planned activities for them.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Reading books are always fascinating with little kids. Painting and coloring while jamming some fun music always brings a smile across their adorable cheeks. Letting them explore (somewhere safe such as a backyard) with their big imaginations. As for babies, its always gotta be the interesting "peek-a-boo" and tickles!!! Also, listening to children's classics are a must!!!

Being responsible, have patience, and have fun with the little ones to have a feeling of comfort with each other. A bond. Its important to know what the child likes and dislike, its never right to force a child to eat or do something that doesn't seem to be in their interest.

I remember watching over my nephew, his nickname is buggy. Less than 3 years old. We were playing around with toy cars and he comes across a princess crown(it was in my little sister's toy box) and puts it upside down on my head. After he did that he claps his hand and giggles and continues to play with the toy cars. I was amazed and intrigued why he did that and I thought it was so cute of him to do that. He doesn't have any sisters nor any girl toys so I assumed he learned it from watching videos. I could be wrong but I just thought that was the cutest moment I've had with him. Its amazing what babies can do.
