Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a camp counselor at Next Generation Daycamp, a Daycare teacher at St. Johns Daycare, & i’ve been a nanny for the same family for two years

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love going on walks and being outside. I’m a photographer as well, so any opportunity to capture a moment! Reading and doing arts and crafts, along with much needed dance breaks. I am also a film gal, so introducing new and older movies is always fun.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Mirroring kid energy, they need to know they can trust your imagination and attention. There's a line of mutual respect and fun that will sometimes be blurred, but the relationship between a kid and I, has to be established for that to stand. & from there, we're ensuring that both parties know their roles and are comfortable with exploring what's within that.

My experience with special needs children...

Alot of my special needs experiences have all primarily been in school from elementary to Best Buddies in highschool or helping out during lunch time or during gym.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Introducing one of “my kids” to a camera. It was the most precious & wholesome thing I could experience. learning something for the first time is liberating and can also be disappointing, but the process of not knowing to slowly knowing is cool to witness. & now his creativity is being captured in real time.
