The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is building an environment full of trust and genuine connection with the children. Beyond just caring for their basic needs, a nanny becomes a steady presence, someone who listens, understands, and supports them as they grow. It’s about creating a safe, loving environment where kids feel valued, encouraged to explore, and, most importantly, have fun. When children know they can rely on you and enjoy their time together, it opens the door to meaningful learning, emotional growth, and lasting memories.
My experience with special needs children...
I have had the privilege of working with special needs children for five years while living in England. My primary role was at a Community Center, where I supported children with diverse challenges and needs. One of the most impactful parts of this experience was my involvement in therapeutic horse riding programs. Through this, I witnessed firsthand how interaction with horses can bring about increased confidence, improved motor skills, and emotional healing for children with various disabilities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was taking the kids to the aquarium and the LEGO experience. Seeing their faces light up as they explored the colorful underwater world and then got creative building with LEGO bricks was pure joy. It was amazing to watch their curiosity and imagination come alive, and I loved being part of those simple yet unforgettable adventures. Moments like those remind me how special it is to share in a child’s wonder and excitement.
