Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was, in terms of a better word, a step mom for almost three years. I ran all the errands, did all the caregiving, showers, meals, driving to school and emotional support and love expected from a mom. My girls were 4 and 7 when we first met and while I am no longer in that role now I still baby sit them occasionally. I also was a nanny to my sisters twin newborns for two years, as well as did tons of babysitting and nannying in my high-school/middle school years.
