More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a private nanny for 20+ years, and I have also worked in a few Montessori schools where I was certified as a Montessori teacher. I have worked in two daycares, but I prefer the one-on-one time spent with children in a nanny situation.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy coming up with themes for the week and having crafts and activities to go along with the weekly theme. I enjoy getting children out in nature when possible, and I am open to field trips such as trip to the zoo, wildlife safari, SAC museum, or local parks and splash pads. I’m about about making learning fun!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The two most important parts of being a nanny, to me, would be open communication and trust with the parents, and ensuring a fun but educational experience for the child every day and watching them soak it all up.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with autistic children that are in my current center.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment is when the child begins to learn that they can trust you and you are there to not only keep them safe, but to help them thrive as much as possible .

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Omaha, NE: Kelsey R.
Hi, I’m Kelsey! I’ve worked in a childcare settings for 13 years, since I was a junior in highschool. I’ve worked my way up to leadership roles and I absolutely love what I do. I’m looking for a nanny position to get out of the center setting, in hopes to build new relationships, have more flexibility and provide my knowledge and care to a family in need. I’m interested and very eager to work alongside a family, helping with all things children, home, and household managing. I’d love the chance to get to meet your family and see if it would be a good fit for everyone. I do have a 4 year old as well as a 7 year old, whom I would need to take to school at 8:15am M-F and pick up at 3:30am M-F, but I am open to discussing all logistics and details. Thanks for reading- hope to chat soon!
Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Omaha, NE: Maria H.
Hi! I’m Maria, a responsible and caring babysitter based in Omaha. I’m the oldest sister, so I’ve naturally spent a lot of time helping take care of my younger siblings, which has made me patient and attentive.
I also speak Spanish, which can be helpful for bilingual families. My mom has always worked caring for children, so I grew up around that environment and learned a lot from her, even if my experience isn’t formal.
I truly enjoy being around kids and creating a safe, calm, and positive space for them.

Hi! I’m the oldest of 4 siblings, so I’ve been around and babysat kids of all ages. I also worked pretty consistently for a family of 5 girls all under the age of 12, so I’m used to having my hands full! I will be a senior at UNO next year and will graduate with a degree in Neuroscience. After that I’m planning to apply to medical school in hopes of being a pediatrician!

Live-In Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Omaha, NE: Mariya J.
Hi! My name is Mariya Johnson, and I’m a 20-year-old who recently moved back to Omaha after living in Florida for several years. I come from a big, close-knit family of seven with five kids, and as the second oldest, I’ve always had a natural role in caring for my younger siblings. I’ve also spent a lot of time caring for my 1.5-year-old niece, which has only deepened my love for working with little ones. I love being around kids—helping them grow, keeping them smiling, and creating a safe, supportive space. I worked at the YMCA as an after-school care coach at an elementary school, where I engaged with kids through daily activities, play, and emotional support. I enjoy cooking, cleaning, and staying organized, and I bring a dependable, calm, and nurturing energy to every role. I’m currently studying psychology with plans to become a child psychologist, and I’m passionate about making a difference in children’s lives. I’d love to support a family in a meaningful way.
