I currently work as an Assistant Director at a daycare and have over 3 years of professional experience caring for children from 6 weeks to 6 years old. I am also a Preschool Lead Teacher and am currently earning my degree in Early Childhood Education. I am CPR certified, a mandated reporter, and Illinois Gateway certified. In addition to my professional experience, I have years of babysitting experience with children of all ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children. I have experience with potty training, bottle feeding, developmental milestones, educational activities, behavior guidance, meal preparation, bedtime routines, and creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. I am passionate about childcare and treat every child with patience, kindness, and respect.

I love creating fun, engaging, and educational experiences for children of all ages. Some of my favorite activities include arts and crafts, sensory play, reading books, music and dancing, building with blocks, puzzles, STEM activities, and age-appropriate learning games. I also enjoy spending time outdoors at parks, going on nature walks, playing sports, blowing bubbles, sidewalk chalk, scavenger hunts, and visiting libraries, museums, and local events. I believe in limiting screen time and encouraging creativity, exploration, and hands-on learning while making sure every child feels safe, supported, and has fun.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and trusting environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. I believe every child deserves patience, encouragement, and opportunities to learn through play and everyday experiences. My goal is to become a positive role model, support each child’s growth and development, and build a strong partnership with parents through open communication and reliability. Knowing I’ve made a positive impact in a child’s life is the most rewarding part of what I do.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was watching a child who was very shy and struggled with confidence finally come out of their shell. After months of reading together, doing crafts, and encouraging them to try new things, they proudly looked at me one day and said, “I did it all by myself!”
