A little bit about me

Mother of 2. 4yo girl & 17yo boy. I’m coming out of a bad situation. I’m looking to reinvent myself so to speak. Despite having a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, but mainly working in the Oil and Gas industry, my heart is with kids. This is what I feel like God wants me to be doing. I enjoy the ocean, comedies, art, painting, poetry, wine, court/crime shows/tv, bull riding, ufc fighting, concerts, documentaries, traveling, jokes, dogs, summer nights, bonfires, darts, and on and on….. Little of this, little of that. Went from KS ➡️ OK ➡️ TX… I suppose if I follow the route I’ve been on then I’ll be near the beach when I’m “old”. 🌊 I’m a very open minded person and communicate well. I’m respectful, honest, loyal and trustworthy. I respect boundaries. With that being said, I do not and will not spank. That’s just something I’m not comfortable with. Mother of 2! I feel as though motherhood gave me adequate experience with children. I have several nieces and nephews that I cared for when they were younger as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Pretty much anything and everything. If your child has a hobby or favorite toy or favorite anything then we’re doing that! From playing on the floor with babies to the park, board games, going on walks, hide-n-seek, making blanket forts, watching sports or doing one of them, chalk, painting, rock hunting, baking, etc etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters most to me about being a nanny is that the child is comfortable with me. I want the parent(s) to feel safe leaving me to care for them. If these roles were reversed, I’d want someone to care for my child just like I would do. I will do just that with your child. I feel as though it’s important to feed into a child’s life in a positive way no matter the duration or intensity.
