The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important aspects of being a caregiver are providing a safe, nurturing environment.
My experience with special needs children...
I taught a year in Behavior Disorder self contained. I subbed for six weeks in severe and profound, and I did a brief internship back in college working with young children with varying challenges.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I've never nannied- I'm a mom though and what I absolutely know is that every moment is special with these young ones. I miss my own children being little and we aren't to the grandparent stage yet, so I miss so many things about being with babies and children. Two of our daughters are nannies and each of their charges have become like grandchildren to us.
