Being a safe person for kids (ensuring their safety, making them feel safe enough to trust you with fears/dreams/etc., speaking up if something seems off, and so on).
My experience with special needs children...
I've worked with kids with autism and subbed in multi-handicapped schools. I have inactive CNA and Med Aide certifications, but have been considering taking the refresher courses and exams to reactivate them.
