Hello I’m Meg! I’ve always had a passion for working with children, and I’m currently doing online school to become a teacher. I have prior nanny experience as well as coaching experience. At my last job I taught swim safety to all ages ranging from babies to adults. Safety is always my number one priority, while having fun is a close second! I am first aid, CPR, and lifeguard certified. I love doing arts and crafts and spending time outdoors. Children are the highlight of this world and I love being apart of their lives as they grow into little people.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve taught many swim lessons as well as coached my younger brothers baseball team. I help with events put on by the local little league and used to volunteer to read to kids at my brothers school.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing arts and crafts such as painting and drawing. I love to dance and sing. Learning things like the ABC’s or how to count are super fun to help kids with. When it comes to outdoor activities I love going on walks to the park or taking a swim if possible.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny to me is helping kids grow and develop into young people. I love being apart if that growing process and being a strong role model for them. Having fun while staying safe is my top priority.

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve taught swim lessons to children with autism and Down syndrome.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One time I stung a bunch of red yarn throughout the hallway with some scotch tape. The kids had to climb through the red lines without touching them, kinda like lasers in a movie scene. They had so much fun with that, they begged me every time I came back to hang up the red string again.
There was this little 3 year old girl I used to teach how to swim. Apparently anytime she was in the bathtub, she would tell her mom that she is “miss Megan” and that she was going to teach her mom how to swim. We had a good laugh at her pretending to be me!
