I have worked as a caretaker for three years and I’m currently employed at an assisted living facility. I’m looking for caretaking work that feels less corporate and is solely focused on the client. I look forward to my shifts visiting with the residents and have spent many hours listening to stories, sharing stories, playing music and singing, being a shoulder to cry on, a cook, a housekeeper and more. I love the unpredictability of the job and the connections I get to make every day. I have my own car and I’m reliable. I rarely ask for days off though I do need to take an occasional vacation for my own sanity. I also have full COVID-19 vaccinations.
