Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve gone with my mom to nanny jobs in the summer to help out from around 9-12. I’ve babysat from multiple families with kids from 6 mo. to 9 years. I’ve also volunteered at a daycare for a church organization, and there were around 5-6 kids in there at once (hoping not to do that again.)
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love art and anything music related. I like taking walks with the kids and swimming. I also like reading with them.
My experience with special needs children...
I shadowed a teacher for a non-verbal 5 y.o boy on the autism spectrum. We went outside to play or did flashcards and shapes. I also did light meal prep and helped him eat. They were working on getting him out of pull-ups while I was there and I helped a little with that.
