Instead of relying on iPads, I encourage children to be creative, curious, and engaged through hands-on activities. Most importantly, I believe kids should be kids. I have some experience interacting with children with special needs, though I recognize there is always more to learn. The most important part about being a nanny...

It's when I have a mentor moment with my kids, like playing basketball and coaching them because of my experience. Showing them how to bake because I learned from my mom, and seeing their eyes glow when their work is done. Making a piece of art with them and showing me their mastery and to their parents too. Seeing them smile is my favorite nanny moment.
