A little bit about me

I raised two on my own. I don't mind helping around the house. I think great communication with the parents is very important. Any rules you make I follow. If you need something out of the usual I don't mind getting it or doing it. I like to keep a schedule going so they know what is expected of them and what they can expect for the next day. I do lots of arts and crafts and go to story time at the library. Now if you have an infant I would of course enjoy staying at home with your new pride and joy. I always pick up before you get home so you don't come home to a messy house. And I am also available to call for certain weekends also. But I would like to get a family and just commit to the one family. If you have more than one child we can negotiate the price.or just do a weekly price. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have subbed as a kindergarten teacher. I have worked at a day care. I have also done daycare for several years. I love babies and I have three grandkids two under two and one that 5.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to play memory games with picture cards, make slime, for outside of course. Or play animal game where we pick an animal we like and we try to act like one then switch it is great for movement. I also like to play along with a learning channel learning sign language and they learn to show you what they want. I do not let them sit in front of the TV but I will let them do educational videos with me.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I feel the most important part of being a nanny is that the parent can go or do whatever they need to do with out worrying if their child is ok. When they leave them with me I want them to know there is nothing in the world I wouldn't do for their child's safety. And if I was uncertain I would call. But as a parent and grandparent the #1 thing to ruin your night out or your day at work is bing worried about your babies. I guarantee if I have even the slightest hesitation on something I will call or text and ask.

My experience with special needs children...

I watched an autistic 12 year old til he was 16 years old. He was very polite and a great person. I also subbed in the special needs class in Forsyth for two years.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is when my lil girl I was nannying said you smell good and I love you. And it was a great day because we were together a lot and I did overnights also. Just to know she trusted me made me feel good.
