Hello, my name is Melanie. I'm a mother to 3 children and grandmother to 2 beautiful boys. My oldest son Seth(21) will be joining the air force in a few months. My daughter Jewel(16) and my youngest son, Shelby(11) both had unique and specialized needs, so they do not attend public school. I have been homeschooling my youngest two for almost 6 years. It is challenging at times. But it is definitely worth the effort! My son Shelby was 2 months premature at birth. He was born with a bilateral cleft in his hard and soft palate. Later he was diagnosed with Pierre Robin Sequence, Sticklers Syndrome, and other genetic mutations. The first 5 years of his life were very hard. But he persevered thru every road block and limitation that came his way. Now he has a pretty normal life. And hopefully with his speech therapy, will soon be able to speak without any impediments.

I love children and understand how important it is to have quality care for your little ones.
