A little bit about me

Hi my name is Melissa Grimsley I’m a mother of three grown children. My son Thurston is 41 years old and my twins Moses and Monchelle are 36 years old.i have 11 beautiful grandchildren. I’ve been taking care of kids all my life. It started with my younger siblings, Presently I take care of my granddaughters they are now 10 and 8 but I have taken care of them since the oldest was a year old. I’ve been a home Health Aide taking care of the elderly. In 2017 I moved back here to Louisiana to care for my sister Shelby she passed in April of 2018. I went back to Georgia and cared for my daddy and he passed in September of 2019. I now see about my granddaughters and my mom who will be 80 in July. I also take care of my special needs great niece Amiri’Marie when her mom needs a break. Amiri has Cerebral Palsy and Hydrocephalus and I must say she wasn’t suppose to live past three hours she’s 4 years old now and doing well. My heart feels so good to be able to care for my family members.
