More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I previously worked at a school (PS-8th) as an office assistant where throughout the day I would interact and help children from all ages either aiding with scrapes and bruises or contacting home. Occasionally, I worked as a sub for each of these grade levels. I was employed here during Covid, so I am fully vaccinated and up to date on all mandates!
Additionally, I worked in the after school daycare program for these students. I watched many children from kinder to 8th grade! There I was able to engage in outdoor and indoor activities, help with homework questions and establish routine.
I also was able to work with high school students after I graduated as an assistant track coach, where I could build confidence on and off the field while mentoring these students.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I think it’s important to have a good balance of indoor and outdoor activities that enrich mind and body! Different play pretends like Dinos or Mermaids are great ways to be active and have flourishing imaginations! I think being able to not only read stories, but making up your own is a fun way to make inside just as fun as outside!
My experience with special needs children...
In high school I actively participated in the special Olympics my school had for track and field. Additionally, I have personal experience interacting and caring for kiddos with special needs within both my family and at my job at the school. I’m incredibly patient and understand that children especially those with special needs, require routine, patience, understanding, love and most importantly fun! Currently, I am working as a BCAT (Board Certified Autism Technician).
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment is bittersweet; being able to send the two kids I was with the last three years off to school and have them feel, happy, loved, and excited was one of the most satisfying moments.
