I have been a teacher's aid in a private school. I was a live-in nanny for a year and a half until I got married. My husband and I have 7 children ages 30 to 12. I have a lot of babysitting experience over the years and we also have done foster care. I am the coordinator for the nursery at our church.

The most important thing about being a nanny is the love given to children. Whether that is through encouragement, caring for their physical/emotional needs or even giving them loving instruction and correction. All of these things are important to the growth and stability of a child while the most important people in their lives (Mommy and Daddy) are away or busy with work.

I have a sister that has Down's Syndrome. She is 15 years younger than I so I helped my mom a lot with her care when she was little.
