A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Meranda Suttles. I have been a nanny and a babysitter my whole life, perks of growing up in a large family. I started being a nanny when I was about 15 for a family in New bremen, when they moved I then moved my focus to becoming an STNA. While becoming an STNA I was also certified in first aid and CPR. I did that for a little while then covid hit and I opened up an in home day care service for families in my area. By the end of my time with the babysitting I was watching 12 kids and I was certified through job & family services for any low income families that needed help. I make it a point to do learning activities, fun activities, anything I can think of to keep the children occupied and always thinking. I’ve always been around children and was always the first one people went to when needing a sitter. From watching family members children, to my sisters, to being a nanny, and running an in home babysitting service.

My experience with special needs children...

When running my babysitting service I had a 6 year old boy with autism who was amazing. Of course he would have his days where he was over stimulated but we learned ways to help calm him so when he had his outbursts I was able to control him and calm him easily.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Would have to be when I was going to leave for the last time when my last family was moving away. They made me a basket, gave me lots of gift cards, a bonus, and their daughter drew me lots of amazing things to remember her by. Just filled my heart with joy because we always had so much fun and they made those long days worth it.
