Hi! My name is Meredith Maxwell I am looking for future nannying jobs. I am 19 years, I have sat for children of all ages over 2 and would be happy to care for younger kids with a bit of training. I love connecting with kids, their outlooks on life make the sun shine a little brighter :) . I love pets as well so your non-human friends are no problem at all. Id be happy to assist with pet care, tidying up, schoolwork, & a bit of cooking- always up for new recipes! I can work full time or part time. I am able to work now but will need a two week notice. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been babysitting for years, I have sat for so many different families I couldn't name them all. Children upwards of around 1-2, I am more than happy to learn more and work with younger children as well though. I have had experience with many different personalities and learn to love each and every one of them.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love exercising creativity with art projects or gardening, walks, helping them feel better about their schoolwork, and most anything grounding- adapting to their personality. I enjoy spending time with kids. I love listening to young spirits, they bring a needed stillness to the world in conversation and I try to be uplifting for them. Every experience is different and beautiful in a new way. I am happy to adjust for personality and circumstances.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Connecting with the kids. This helps them feel comfortable and safe so that they may come to you in an emergency. Connecting with children also helps build social confidence in them as well as conversational skills if they are young. Connecting not only benefits them but it benefits me as I can be a better Nanny if I understand each child's individual needs. :)
