Heyy!! My name is Mia!! I am super outgoing, bubbly nanny who grew up right here in South Jordan! I currently play soccer at Utah Valley University, so staying active, energetic, and always on the move is just part of who I am. I absolutely love dancing, roller skating, and bringing that same fun, positive energy into the time I spend with kids.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve gained a lot of childcare experience over the years! I worked as a preschool assistant teacher at Copper Kids Care, where I helped support daily classroom activities, guided learning, and cared for children of various ages. I’ve also been a nanny and babysitter for friends and family basically my whole life, giving me tons of hands-on experience with playtime, crafts, routines, meals, and creating a safe, fun environment for little ones.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing anything that sparks creativity, learning, and lots of smiles! Some of my favorite activities include playing outside, doing arts and crafts, reading cute picture books, dancing around to music, going on little adventures like walks or park trips, and helping with simple games or sports. I also enjoy imaginative play, building things, and creating fun activities that keep kids engaged, active, and happy.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and positive environment where kids feel comfortable, supported, and truly cared for. It’s about being someone they can trust, having patience, and showing up for them with kindness and consistency. I think it’s also important to make every day fun and meaningful whether that’s learning something new, being creative, or just making them feel seen and valued.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience working in a peer tutor special needs program, where I supported students with a variety of learning, social, and developmental needs. Through this program, I learned how to be patient, encouraging, and adaptable while helping each child feel understood and supported. It taught me the importance of creating a safe, positive environment and meeting every child exactly where they’re at.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moments are always the little ones where everything just clicks like when a child shows me something they learned and their whole face lights up. One of my absolute favorites was when a little girl I babysat ran up and hugged me out of nowhere and said, “You’re my favorite person to play with.” Moments like that remind me why I love childcare so much.
