Hi! My name is Mia and I’m a caring, responsible nanny with lots of hands-on experience with children. I have Level C CPR, AED, and First Aid training, and I’ve previously worked in a daycare as well as babysat for families. I also grew up helping care for my six younger siblings, so being around kids and supporting their daily routines has always been a big part of my life. I’m patient, attentive, and I truly enjoy creating a safe, positive environment where children can feel comfortable and have fun. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have done volunteering at school for children who need a bit of extra support. I have done many babysitting/ nanny jobs through the years. As well as I worked in a daycare for a year !

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing activities with children such as colouring, playing with toys, watching movies, going to parks, swimming, going for lunches or making them at home, I love baking and cooking with the children if safe for them to help.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny to me is making sure children feel safe, cared for, and happy while their parents are away, and building trust with families so they know their kids are in good hands

My experience with special needs children...

I only have experience with this from being at school and helping kids who need the extra support with some school work or going for walks with them. As well my younger sister has dealt with autism which gave me some background knowledge but every child is different and has different needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have lots of favourite moments but my absolute favourite is when they are learning something new and finally understand and how accomplished they feel. I love teaching kids new things and helping them understand new skills. As well all the silly moments definitely bring alot of joy !
