A little bit about me

i’ve been watching kids since i was 13 and was red cross trained ! i professionally started watching kids in 2019 . i worked as an infant teacher and toddler teacher for 3 years and i was a private nanny for 3 years to a 1 year old and 8 year old that i watched grow up . i have a 3 year old of my own that i had in 2021 . i am fine following any “crunchy” rules as i am respectful of others parenting decisions . i currently have a 3 row tahoe if transportation is needed and i am currently looking to upgrade to something newer but just as safe . i am willing to do days if anyone is looking for company from my son(3 years old) for their little one , otherwise im looking to do evenings or nights . i have more availability on weekends and i will be renewing my zoo and museum memberships soon. as a mom and a sister of 5 younger siblings much younger than i , i have lots of patience and understanding .i am able to work part time to full time depending on the situation

"Micaela cared for our daughter Cici for 3 1/2 years, starting right when Covid hit. She was reliable, coming to our house to look after Cici Monday through Friday for about 9 hours a day. She was kind, caring and patient and she was a great help with potty training, learning numbers and letters. She even helped by attending daytime visits with Help Me Grow when we learned Cici had a speech delay and I couldn’t get off work. Needless to say, Cici was more than ready to start pre-k with Micaela’s help. She also made sure to take Cici to lots of fun outings to the zoo, playgrounds, ice cream store, etc. It was such a blessing having someone we could fully trust and who cared for our daughter like one of her own. Micaela is a stellar caregiver and would recommend a million times over!"

The most important part about being a nanny...

as a parent myself i believe the most important part is realizing that if you watch children you are helping shape them into their future self and that it’s a very important responsibility . respecting parents ideals and wishes is extremely important and there’s no thing as being too “extra” with how you wish to care for your kids and their caretakers need to being willing to help with that or be comfortable communicating if they are not comfortable.
