The most important part of being a nanny is making sure the family, the kids, and you are comfortable. This would provide everyone with a piece of mind and a sense of security. This consists of safety and emotional security. When the family is comfortable they are open to more communication and interaction with me. When the kids are comfortable they tend to thrive in environments where they feel secure. This will allow them to learn, play, and express themselves without fear. When I am comfortable, I am able to perform my duties smoothly knowing that the family values my role. This helps create a environment where long term relationships can be built.

I have experience with children with Autism, ADHD, and Down Syndrome. I also have experience with children who have learning disabilities such as dyslexia.
The most important part about being a nanny...
A favorite moment I had with one of my kids was when we had a Disney Tangled Night. We got dressed up in our favorite characters, made themed food from the movie, and made forts while we watched the movie. The food we made braided garlic bread, mini crown shaped pizzas, “floating” lantern fruit kabobs, and flower cake.
