A little bit about me

Hello, my name is Mike Gatti, a born and raised Staten Islander, and I would love to apply for this position! I have worked the last year at Temple Israel, The Herman and Libbie Michaelson Early Childhood Center, in which I watched over kids 18 months - 4 years old. Likewise, I then became a summer school teacher for a Kindergarten Class through Catapult Learning.

Likewise, during my time here I became experienced with meal preps, diaper changes, nap time routines, and some fun nursery songs. During my time here I also learned differences in fine and gross motor skills.

Additionally, I just received my BA in psychology and political science from SUNY Albany. I served as a Resident Assistant supervising over 43 sophomores in college for two years. While the age group was drastically different, many of the skills learned here can be applied to any age. Lastly, I am CPR/First Aid Certified by the American Heart Association.
