I grew up with a large family where I cared for and babysat younger siblings and cousins from as early as 14. I still do light babysitting for my family and am currently going to school to become a teacher because I truly love care for kids.

I love doing crafts and playing pretend. I honestly love anything where the child gets to be creative because it truly helps their personality shine through. I also like getting to play more structured games like cards and boards games because I feel it also teaches how to follow rules and that rules aren’t a bad thing.

I volunteer at the arch and for night to shine. I also worked with my high schools life skills program and help those kids in core classes like cooking and P.E. Granted most of the people with special needs have been teens to adults but I still feel it’s valuable knowledge I’ve gained from them.
