I currently nanny M/T/T/F, and occasionally I’ll help out with my older sister’s kids when she needs childcare.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I like to ask how they’d like to spend their time and then build on their answer! Crafts are so fun to come up with indoors, as are board games and on-the-fly learning games. Outside is a whole other world where anything goes! Parks and libraries have always been a hit, but add a little imagination and you can be anywhere doing anything!

I’m my honest opinion, the most important part about nannying is being someone a child feels safe to be themselves around, and is reliable to both the parent and the child.

I don’t have any experience with special needs, but I’m so open to learning and would be flexible.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My nanny kids were all in the car with me and they were saying how their neighbor scares them because she’s bald. I stated how one day I hope to be bald, and how all the kindest ladies lose their hair when they get old. They responded with “oh yikes, you’re gonna be super bald!” It was the best compliment I’ve ever received!
