A little bit about me

Hello! I am a senior in High School scheduled to graduate in June 2026. I love working with kids and I voluntarily assistant teach at an elementary school in a third grade classroom as a part of my program at the High School. I have over 100 hours of classroom experience and have worked with children ages 3-9. As of right now I am only available for part time jobs until I graduate and then I am looking for full time/live in nanny positions. I love animals and creating fun activities to keep children engaged. I can meal prep/cook and clean up around the house as needed. I’m excited to be a part of a fun and loving household!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have done significant volunteer work with children. I work currently in a classroom at Steere Farm. I have been a part of the play school program at my school for 3-5 year olds as well and taught a day of them.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love outdoor activities and indoor activities alike. However, I love to get kids up and moving or doing something fun rather than playing on tablets or watching Tv. I love playing games like hide and seek, and many other activities. It’s really up to what the child wants to do!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part of working in this field is to be nurturing. I think in order to work with kids, (it might seem obvious) you have to enjoy it. My 3rd graders get so excited to see me and there isn’t a better feeling in the world. I love working with them, teaching them new things, and making sure they feel safe and loved.

My experience with special needs children...

I have limited experience working with special needs children. I often work with specific groups of kids during my volunteer teaching who need extra help and while I consider myself to be very good at it, I am in no way qualified as a special ed teacher.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love when the children haven’t seen me for a bit because of school break and the moment I walk through the door they get so excited. The joy in their faces really makes my day and they’ll always come and give me a group hug. Another specific experience was when I was working with a boy who had some reading struggles and whenever he would get a word right he looked so happy and proud of himself. It honestly was the most amazing feeling being able to help a child understand something they struggle with.
