I enjoy doing all activities, as I am also a big child at heart. Reading, coloring, creating crafts or hobbies, playing games with the children, laughing and being silly, teaching them new things, playing outdoors, going on walks, taking them out into the community (if allowed). Basically any and all activities that makes them happy.

The most important part would be making them feel loved, safe, and secure.

My experience with special needs children...

My son has Autism. I have raised him on my own for 22 years, and am constantly praised for the amazing job I did raising such a fine young man. He recently started working as an Intern at St. John's Regional Medical Center. I feel such an accomplishment having raised my gift from above, especially as a single parent.
