A little bit about me

I have been caring for children since I was a teenager, babysitting for extra money, and I have always come back to working with children throughout my life. I have been off work caring for my autistic child but am finally ready to get back into the work force and hoping to find the perfect family to grow and bond with. The last job I had was a nanny and before that I was in a, before and after daycare working with school aged children. I'm excited to get back to work and to find the perfect fit and perfect family to work with.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked in, infant toddler daycares, I am trained and certified with my ECE and working with children 3-5, I have also worked in before and after daycare working with children 5-10. I have had nanny jobs working with small children 1-3 as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I've always enjoyed circle time as it's very engaging with the children. Creative arts is another favourite of mine as you get to watch the children create their own works of art. Pretend play I find the most effective learning through play, that's how you teach them to 'share' and 'take turns' pretend play is very effective with social and emotional development

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is bonding with the children, helping them grow and develop in all aspects of their life and growing a bond with a family who eventually become family too. I worked with a family years ago that I still talk to and keep in touch to this day, makes the job very rewarding when employers become family.

My experience with special needs children...

I have been a support worker in daycares to the special needs children. I also have an experience with my own son as he is autistic and has needed a lot of support throughout these years, but he has also grown a lot which is why I am able to go back to work
