I’ve cared for children in several roles, including volunteering in my church’s children’s ministry and helping lead youth activities during retreats. I also regularly babysit for family and friends, supporting with meals, bedtime routines, and homework help. I love keeping kids active and engaged with a mix of fun and creative activities! Indoors, I enjoy reading books, doing arts and crafts, playing educational games, and baking simple treats together. Outdoors, I like going for walks, playing tag, blowing bubbles, having picnics at the park, or organizing mini scavenger hunts. The most important part about being a nanny is building a trusting relationship with both the child and the family. I want children to feel safe, valued, and loved in my care. It matters to me that I create a positive, nurturing environment where kids can grow, explore, and just be themselves. Being a reliable and supportive presence in their everyday life is something I truly care about.

I don’t have direct experience caring for children with special needs yet, but I’m very open to learning and supporting families in any way I can. I’m patient, compassionate, and always willing to follow any instructions or routines to ensure each child feels safe, understood, and cared for.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when a little girl I was caring for made me a handmade “Best Nanny Ever” card completely on her own. She had cut out hearts, glued on sparkles (a lot of them!), and wrote “I love you” in big, crooked letters. It was such a genuine, sweet surprise and reminded me just how meaningful it is to be part of a child’s everyday life.
