A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Michelle Perez. I'm 20 year old and have 5 years in experience taking care of toddlers and school children. Throughout my life, I always have been surrounded by children, either through my grandmother taking care of them or my mother. Personally, I have taken care of many children, whether family friends or through word of mouth, throughout my highschool years. I have acquired many skills, thanks to my grandmother and mother, in how to handle kids and how to entertain them, for example, taking them to the park, playing sports, doing art projects, etc. Having learned to meal prep, diaper change, etc. I'm willing to commute to work, if its further than where I live at. Being hands on and being able to properly communicate with them to learn their likes and dislikes help build trust and a welcoming environment for them. I also have two dogs of my own so I'm very comfortable with pets.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some outdoor activities that I enjoy doing with children like stated in my profile would be for example, during the summer heat, take out the inflatable pool to allow the kids to have fun while also staying cool. Taking out my two dogs with them for walks through the park. Going to the park and playing games with them wether hide or seek, tag, or any game they wish to play.

The most important part of being a nanny would be to create a safe and comfortable environment for the children to grow in and create trust with one another. That they are well feed and are health.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have many favorite Nanny moments that I always remember but one that sticks out the most would be watching the three younger girls, oldest (7) second(5) and youngest one(3) that my grandmother and mother took care throughout the girls' lives. Earning their parents trust, they left the care to me and younger sister. Having been with them for many years, ever since they were all born, it's been an amazing journey seeing them grow into the young girls that they are today. All of them are currently in school and still take care of them to this today, whether picking them up at school or taking care of them when sick. I feel joy knowing the girls see me as an older sister to them and have the trust in me like they have with their parents!
