I love doing crafts and other creative activities with kiddos. I also love playing outside and doing teaching activities that help them learn developmentally appropriate skills like their numbers or the alphabet. I also love being outdoors, so parks were a regular stop for me with the kiddos I nannied in the past.

is treating kids with kindness, respect, and patience. It is important to teach them that they are capable and valuable human beings. It is also important to allow them to make mistakes in a safe environment where those mistakes can become learning experiences.

The first time the almost 2-year old I nannied in 2023 said my name and that she loved me my heart melted. Honestly, the hardest part of the job for me is letting go of the kids I've worked with when I need to return to college.

In my opinion, almost nothing is as difficult as trying to get tired middle schoolers to do math after the school day has ended, but it gave me important and necessary childcare skills. I know how to get kids to listen to me, even if they're being difficult or having a rough day, and I also have practice with helping multiple kids at once.
