More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Senior in Nursing school and in my clinical experiences I have cared for a variety of populations from the NICU, ER, Post Surgical, Elementary School and beyond. I also have a 4 year old daughter of my own and I have gained much experience with her including baby led weaning, safe sleep practices and promoting learning independence through activity and play.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing arts and crafts, I have a abundance of supplies of my own, I love to paint, crochet and make any 3D art. Outside activities we enjoy are going to the pool, parks and going on color walks or adventures. Reading at the library is my go to for rainy or hot days, its a good opportunity to practice quiet independent time and reading by modeling. I also enjoy age appropriate cooking and baking! I have found with my own daughter having her involved with me in the kitchen has made her more curious about trying foods and made a big difference in having her be excited for meals and less focused on snacking while she waits. I am a life long learner and always collecting new ideas to enrich children and myself while also promoting healthy attachment and independence.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Nannies need to have empathy, kindness, love for teaching along with learning, and be trustworthy for the child and parent. There is so many important things for a nanny to uphold but trust is number 1.
A passion of my mine is education and life long learning. My grandfather raised us with the emphasis of how important education for ourselves is and it’s also our duty to pass along knowledge to younger generations. He had the trial of being an orphan in rural Mississippi and had to take many risks on himself to put him and his family in a better position and always prioritized learning to build himself into better positions. I want to encourage young minds that they are capable of whatever they set their mind to just takes a lot of work. I believe in speaking love and positivity into children instead of heavy criticism because what we say about kids around them makes an impact on their behavior, it will push them in either direction.

My experience with special needs children...
I have experience with children with autism, ADHD , allergy management and medically complex children.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments was walking to the park every morning with my old family, we would count cars, look for animals and say hi to all the neighbors.

Hi my name is Eliseo Arriaga I’m 17 and yes i am a boy, I’m a high-school senior trying to make some money for fun after school activities with friends and to support my family, I’m a little new to this but I’ve always been good with kids, especially since my mom was a babysitter for 10+ years, it’s very rare to see a boy in these types of work places, but i can assure you i would love to be able to work with you one day and your kids and make it fun for them as well, i am not into everything teens now a days are and i know I can be really fun and make your kids day fun while you (the parents or parent) takes care of other duties, I can do many things and if i need help with anything with only one day of you giving me instructions I’ll get the hang of it, i’m a very fast learner, i speak both languages English/Spanish and I’m very excited to hopefully get started one day.
Thank you and have a good day!
