Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I previously have babysat for local families in High school. I worked at a summer camp the last 2 summers as a cabin leader (ages 2-16), I also volunteer at my church with day care for infants and 2/3 year olds, and I have worked at Ames Community Preschool (ages infancy-5yrs) since January of 2025!

I love going on walks to local parks, baking, cooking for them, and playing fun games indoor/outdoor!

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a space where a child feels genuinely safe, seen, and supported. It’s less about managing a schedule and more about building trust—being the person who listens closely, celebrates small victories, and offers steady guidance on the harder days. To me, being a nanny means showing up with patience, empathy, and consistency, and helping children grow into confident, curious people who know they are cared for.
