Hi, everyone! My name is Mikayla. I am currently a graduate student working towards my degree in occupational therapy in hopes of working in pediatrics! I've began professionally working with children in 2018 in child-care settings ages 2 months-12 years old. I then transitioned to working in ABA for kiddos 1 years-12 years old in a multitude of placement settings (school, in-home, and clinics). I am also the oldest of 5 siblings and like to say that caregiving comes naturally to me.
What I enjoy the most about my work is being able to develop relationships with kiddo and the family to where work no longer feels like work! At the end of the day, it's all about collaborating with parents in understanding how to provide the best care for their kiddo and being that source of support.
In my free time, I love staying active. I play tennis, go the gym, and occasionally go on hikes! I look forward to meeting you and the rest of the family!
